The Marriage Proposal
Are these the most romantic places in Sussex to pop that wedding question ?
New kid on the block - i360' Brighton seafront
Brighton is back on top with the south coast equivalent to The London Eye. With views across to France and way into East Sussex you could be forgiven for thinking you are on top of the world- so while you are feeling so high and heady why not take the opportunity to pop that question. She's the one -so it's got to be done -right ?
If your head for heights leans more towards a gentle incline as opposed to a vertical totem pole -and you prefer the joys of the great outdoors to the bustling excitement around Brighton's newly smartened up seafront -then perhaps a romantic picnic to Ditchling Beacon will have you scampering to one knee. Here you will find an equally impressive 360' view but one of sheep and fields rather than a less familiar roof tops, sea and sky and ant- like bodies scurrying around way below your feet. On the South Downs Way you can take an uplifting 6 mile walk through ancient woodland and wildflower grassland and end up at Devil's Dyke in Brighton. Are those the cries of yes, yes, yes I hear ?
